Social Identity Processes in Mental Health Difficulties

05 March 2019

We are carrying out some research looking at social identity in mental health difficulties. Social identity is about how we understand ourselves based on the social groups we’re part of. Understanding how these relationships develop is important as they may be relevant to people’s self-esteem. If we can understand this, we may be able to use this information to support people’s wellbeing.
