The effects of childhood expatriation on adult professional expatriates.

19 July 2019

A recent study concluded that Adult Third Culture Kids develop with high resilience and adaptive cognitive and affective styles (Abe 2018). This suggests that their personal resources may be capable of managing the increased stressors that come with expatriation compared to adults with a mono-cultural background. The current study aims to test these group differences by exploring whether they predict turnover intention in expatriate professionals.
