A study of brain response to antipsychotic medications using TMS-EEG

05 May 2023

We would like to invite you to take part as a healthy control participant in a study on the brain response to antipsychotics in people diagnosed with schizophrenia.

This study will involve 3 visits to our sites: screening, thinking assessment and neuroimaging. We will use a brain stimulation technique called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to activate the brain and we will record the brain activity using electroencephalography (EEG). Both TMS and EEG are safe and have been widely used.

Requirements

  • Aged 18 to 55 years
  • No personal or family history of psychosis
