Exploring online peer-to-peer financing for Community Sports Organisations

12 August 2020

Community Sports Organisations (CSOs) contribute extensive social impacts to their local communities. However, they have been having to operate in increasingly uncertain and dynamic financial environments, with austerity and the current COVID-19 crisis detrimentally affecting CSOs. The purpose of the study is to explore sustainable financing additions/alternatives for CSOs by scoping the viability and sustainability of online peer-to-peer financing methods (such as crowdfunding).
