Lived Experiences of Veterans with Co-Occurring Chronic Pain and PTSD

We are interested in exploring the lived experiences of veterans who have experienced co-occurring Chronic Pain and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

What is involved?
Taking part in this research project involves an interview to talk about your experiences. You will be asked questions relating to your everyday experiences of chronic pain and PTSD, and how you manage these conditions in your daily life.

Requirements

  • Are military veterans.
  • Have experienced chronic pain and PTSD at the same time.
  • Have previously accessed support for chronic pain and PTSD (individuals currently accessing support for PTSD are not eligible for participation).
  • Left the military 10–25 years ago.
  • Feel like they are able to talk about their experiences.
  • Are comfortable to talk about their experiences in English and live in the UK.
