Traditional Chinese Medicine in the UK plays an important part in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), and the TCM in the UK is shaped by some regulations for its ingredients and types of practice. he current regulation of TCM in the UK lacks a unified and effective regulatory mechanism. If the regulation of TCM can be improved, it will better protect public safety, reduce burden of the NHS, and bring more benefits to the market.
