Examining the effectiveness of current tasks used to induce mental fatigue

11 September 2017

This study aims to investigate a new method for inducing mental fatigue in psychophysiology research. Previous research have utilized methods that last over 30-minutes and induce a physiological and psychological state of under-arousal, sleepiness and boredom. We want to test a new method derived from a method called cognitive loading, lasts less than 30-minutes and induces mental fatigue independent of sleepiness and boredom.
