Is there are a relationship between ADHD and the menopause

We are recruiting women living in the UK aged 45-60 years with or without a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to understand their experiences of the menopause, both before, during and after the menopause, i.e., you don’t have ADHD or menopausal symptoms to take part. The study involves completing an online survey that will ask questions about symptoms of ADHD, general health, and menopausal complaints. The survey will take you around 15-20 minutes to complete.
Requirements
- To participate you must be:
- A woman aged 45-60 years
- Based within the UK.
- You cannot participate if you:
- Have undergone surgical menopause (removal of ovaries).
- Are currently taking Menopause Hormone therapy (MHT, also known as HRT).
- Are taking contraceptive medication (‘the pill’).
- You do NOT have to have ADHD to take part in this study - we are seeking women with and without ADHD.
