Influences on exercise behaviours and attitudes in young people

02 March 2021

** Do you have a child aged 12-16 years?**
We have created a questionnaire to find out about the different factors that may impact young people’s feelings about exercise. We would love for your child to test it and let us know what they think.
Your child will be asked to simply complete our questionnaire and give us some feedback via MS Teams.
The whole process will take no longer than 45 minutes and they have the chance to contribute to crucial research in the process.

About the researcher

This research is being conducted by Kalli Reynolds, a PhD student within the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University. The research is being supervised by Dr Carolyn Plateau and Dr Emma Haycraft. The researchers are interested in collecting young people’s feedback and opinions of a new questionnaire, through the insight of their personal views and exercise experiences. This research is important in addressing the usefulness and relatability of our new measure to the views and experiences of exercise among young people themselves.
