Mental Health and Drug Use in the EDM Scene

The study aims to help understand the prevalence of mental health issues and recreational drug use in the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene, and whether there is a link between the two. The purpose of the survey is to establish a cross-section of the prevalence of mental health issues and use of recreational drugs and alcohol at EDM events.

This study has been approved by the University of West London's London College of Music Department ethics committee in July 2019.
